The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a new battery of missiles this Friday against targets in the Crimean peninsula that caused damage to the headquarters of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, which has acknowledged that There is a missing soldier - he had initially been presumed dead.

Both the Ministry and the pro-Russian governor of the peninsula, Sergei Aksenov, were informed that the anti-aircraft defense systems had shot down several Ukrainian cruise missiles. Specifically, according to Moscow, five missiles were intercepted.

The main consequence of these attacks has been the partial destruction of the fleet headquarters, located in Sevastopol. The city's governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, has confirmed the fall of shell debris in the vicinity and has urged the population to remain alert.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have recognized that they will maintain their offensive on this peninsula, a territory that they aspire to recover and that since 2014 has been under the rule of Russia.

In this sense, the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mikola Oleschuk, has celebrated that, as promised, "there would be more" attacks of this type, after the day before the airfield of Saki, also in Crimea, was hit by Ukrainian drones.

"While the invaders recover in Melitopol and Sevastopol, the air alarm signals continue to sound," Oleschuk stressed, in a publication on his Telegram account, in which he thanks the Ukrainian pilots for their efforts.

On the other hand, the spokesman for the Government of Crimea, Oleg Kriuchkov, denounced this Friday that Internet providers operating on the peninsula have been the subject of several "unprecedented" cyber attacks, although they have already put the necessary mechanisms in place. to eliminate these "threats".
