MADRID, 8 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The coach of Brazil, Tite, insisted that “joy is the identity of Brazilian football”, for which he stressed that dancing when celebrating a goal is part of his “culture” and “does not look down on anyone”, thus I assure that if she has to dance again, she will dance.

“Joy is the identity of Brazilian football, it’s not me, it’s the generation that has just emerged. We give them confidence to give the best of themselves. Under so much pressure, you have to have the courage to play like that, even if you run the risk risk of being injured. That’s the type of football I believe in, although there is criticism if you don’t win the title. But it’s forward, it’s what we believe in,” Tite commented on Brazil’s game model.

The coach also valued the criticism of the celebrations of the Rio de Janeiro players, dancing after each goal scored, something that for Tite is part of “the history, culture and way of life of Brazil.”

“It’s not my team, it’s the Brazilian team, which I have the responsibility to train. I respect the culture and my way of being, the team I work for. Many children will also dance because it’s the Brazilian culture, a culture that he will not belittle anyone. It is our way of being,” he added.

And it is that Tite highlighted the “connection” he has with the youngest, which led him to participate in the celebration of the 3-0 against South Korea. “I am 61 years old, but I have that connection with players who could be my grandchildren. If I have to dance, I will dance. In a very subtle way, I asked them to hide me, it is not my profile. The painting, when it is painted, belongs to the footballer I have to rehearse more, I know,” he joked.

The coach, who advanced that they will decide in training if winger Alex Sandro is available for the quarterfinals this Friday against Croatia, recalled the figure of Pelé. “I wish him good health. He is an inspiration to all of us. He does what the World Cup has shown, with solidarity, harmonious coexistence, united fans, acceptance of differences. Pelé, as a human being, as the greatest of all, and the sport as a vehicle of communication, inspires everyone”, praised the legend, admitted to a hospital in Sao Paulo.

Full-back Danilo also appeared at a press conference, praising Croatia’s performance in the World Cup in Qatar. “They have scored five goals and conceded two. In addition to Modric, they have players like Kovacic, Brozovic, I have played with and against them, and they are used to these games. You have to be prepared”, he reflected.

“I am available for the selector, recovered. I don’t mind playing on the left or the right, it is natural for me to play on both sides. Tite will decide,” he expressed about his versatility to play on both lanes.

And it is that this reconversion to be able to act as a left back is the result of his work and adaptation in all the teams he has passed through. “I have adapted to the football of different teams and coaches. I am focused on my work, not on the criticism that comes from outside, although the affection of the Brazilian fans is important, we work for that,” he said.

“The secret of success in the selection is the predisposition of the players to understand and accept everything. We only have ten days to prepare tactical systems, but this availability of this group over the years makes it easier,” he concluded.
