The PSOE rejects in the Senate the PP initiative against the amnesty: "Do not count on us for confrontation"

MADRID, 3 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The PSOE spokesperson in the Senate, Eva Granados, has advanced her rejection of the initiative that the PP has presented in the Upper House condemning a hypothetical amnesty law, although it will go ahead with the absolute majority of the 'popular'.

"Do not count on us for confrontation because we will be there for dialogue," Eva Granados proclaimed during the debate on this initiative, which the PP has brought to the Senate in the midst of negotiations between the socialists and the independentists, which has the amnesty as main focus.

The PP will assert its absolute majority in the Upper House to carry out this initiative, which will also have the votes in favor of Vox and UPN, as its spokespersons have revealed during the debate on the motion.

In this regard, the socialist spokesperson has disgraced the PP for taking this initiative to the Senate to "self-vote", considering that the motion "is the demonstration of the cause of Feijóo's failure." She, in turn, has been convinced that there will be a Government "that pact and negotiation prevail."

For its part, the PP has delegated the defense of its motion to the senator for León, Antonio Silván, who has expressed his rejection of a possible amnesty and the referendum that the independentists maintain as a condition to invest Pedro Sánchez.
