The King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, thanked in a letter addressed to the lieutenant colonel of the Military Emergency Unit (UME), Juan Saldaña, for the work of the institution in Morocco after the earthquakes that hit Marrakech and left more than 2,900 dead.
