BARCELONA, 15 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -
The Investigating Court 1 of Barcelona has accepted for processing the complaint by the Prosecutor's Office and the complaint by the referee Xavier Estrada Fernández for alleged corruption in payments from FC Barcelona to the former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) José María Enríquez Negreira, and has accepted that LaLiga is a private prosecution in the case.
In an order consulted by Europa Press this Wednesday, the judge has opened the proceedings for the alleged ongoing crimes of corruption between individuals in the sports field, unfair administration and false commercial documents.
The magistrate has decided that the Civil Guard will be in charge of the investigation and, once it receives the documentation of the police investigation, it will set dates to take statements from witnesses and those investigated.
