The Italian company TeamSystem, specialized in digital solutions for the management of companies and professional offices, has acquired 100% of the Spanish firm of 'software' and services for tax consultancies Aplifisa, as well as the 'Asesor Excelente' platform, as reported the company in a statement.
For its part, Aplifisa is specialized in the development of 'software' solutions for professionals in the tax and labor sector in Spain and its headquarters are located in Salamanca.
"It has more than 34 years of experience and its applications enjoy a high prestige, recognized by more than 5,000 clients, including agencies, tax consultants, economists, social graduates, human resources managers, labor consultants, property managers and others", has detailed TeamSystem.
The scope of the purchase of Aplifisa includes the 'Excellent Advisor' platform, which provides services and training "to more than 2,000" consultancies in Spain.
"With an estimated market share of 10%, Aplifisa employs 63 professionals and, in 2022, recorded revenues of close to 5 million euros and an Ebitda (gross operating profit) of 2.7 million euros", has designated TeamSystem.
The CEO of TeamSystem, Federico Leproux, has highlighted that the acquisition of Aplifisa will allow his company to "take an important leap" in terms of size, international presence, as well as a greater reach in some "key" market segments.
"This operation is based on our internationalization process that saw us enter the Spanish market with the acquisitions of Software Delsol and Billin in 2020. Through this acquisition, we integrated a team with 'know-how' and talent and a reliable product and fully dedicated to consultancies, reinforcing our position in a strategic market", he added.
Meanwhile, the CEO and head of RD of Aplifisa, Laureano Ayuso, has highlighted that the "established collaboration" with TeamSystem represents a "great recognition" of the value and growth prospects of Aplifisa.
"Joining forces with TeamSystem represents the best strategy to broaden horizons and explore new business opportunities, both for the company and for its employees, who have shown great professionalism," he opined.
TeamSystem has relied on Garrigues as legal advisor and PwC as financial advisor for the execution of the operation, while Aplifisa was advised by EY in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance, legal and tax.
