The Ibex 35 remains above 9,200 towards the mid-session

The Ibex 35 registered a decrease of 0.24% towards the half session, in line with the opening, so that the selective stood at 9,210.6 points, in a day marked by the bulky rise in oil prices.

The great macroeconomic reference of the session is the manufacturing PMI, which in the case of Spain grew at its highest level since June 2022 in March, while in the euro area it marked its lowest in four months.

Bankinter led the index towards mid-session, with a rise of 2.41%, ahead of Repsol's 2.19%, Banco Sabadell's 2.09%, Banco Santander's 1.72% and 1.70 % of CaixaBank.

On the other hand, Fluidra fell 3.58%, while ArcelorMittal fell 2.67% and BBVA shares fell 2.54%, impacted by the ex-dividend effect. Behind, Iberdrola contracted 2.05%, while Acciona fell 1.30%.

Regarding the rest of the European markets, the German DAX observed flat growth, while the French CAC 40 advanced 0.38% and the Italian FTSE MIB rose 0.58%. Thus, the rise of the Euro Stoxx 50 towards the mid-session was 0.15%, while that of the British FTSE 100 was 0.66%.

Oil registered advances of more than 5% after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, led by Russia, reported on Sunday that they will reduce crude oil supplies by more than a million barrels per day.

The barrel of Brent experienced a rise of 4.95%, up to 83.85 dollars, while the West Texas Intermediate has stood at 79.49 dollars, 5.06% more.

The yield of the Spanish bond with a maturity of 10 years in the secondary debt markets has been located at 3.329%, compared to 3.304% on Friday. Thus, the risk premium has remained practically stable, slightly above 101 basis points, although briefly during the opening it fell to 96.4 integers.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro has appreciated by 0.23% against the dollar, reaching 1.0864 dollars per euro, thus recovering the level of 1.08 dollars that it had lost in the early hours of Monday.
