MADRID, 3 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) already calculates that the number of convicts whose sentence has been reduced by the entry into force of the "only yes is yes" law would already exceed 1,000, according to sources from the governing body of judges consulted by Europa Press.

Specifically, there would be 1,025 those convicted whose reduction has been reduced by the law of the Ministry of Equality and 105 the number of those released, the aforementioned sources have pointed out.

The CGPJ updated its official count of beneficiaries by the so-called "only yes is yes" law on April 14, which then set 978 sentence reductions and 104 releases in application of the rule that came into force on last October 7.
