The Aire group acquires the Spanish company specialized in managed services and cybersecurity Teradisk

It is the sixth integration of the consortium in less than four years

MADRID, 22 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Aire group, owner of the telecommunications firm Aire Networks, has acquired the company specialized in managed services and cybersecurity based in Vilafranca del Penedés (Catalonia) Teradisk, as reported by the company to Europa Press.

With this operation, the group expands its portfolio of cloud services in fields such as managed services, virtualization and cybersecurity, which, in its opinion, "consolidates its leadership position in the cloud market".

"The incorporation of Teradisk is part of the Aire group's strategy of incorporating companies that allow it to strengthen its positioning and create synergies in its portfolio of solutions. In this case, Teradisk reinforces the 'cloud' and 'data center' division of the group, Oasix", added the company.

In addition, it will complement the group's cybersecurity area with its specialized SOC (security operations center) and its "extensive knowledge in cybersecurity management and administration."

The operation, which has had the support of Ardian Buyout, represents the sixth integration of the Aire group in less than four years after those of Unelink and Prored (2019), LCRcom (2020), Ar Telecom (2021) and Stackscale in 2022.

"The organic and inorganic growth of Grupo Aire in recent years has led it to increase its network of more than 33,000 kilometers in the Iberian Peninsula, to create a pan-European network and to increase its offer in the 'cloud' sector of ICT (technologies of information and communication)", added the consortium.

Created in 2015, Teradisk is a Spanish company specialized in solutions dedicated to managed services (monitoring, data and dashboards, 'backups' and 'disaster recovery', availability and concurrency), as well as 'cloud computing' (architecture, consulting , private, public and hybrid cloud), cybersecurity and virtualization systems, among others.

Teradisk's 40 employees will become part of the Aire group, as will their clients, which are companies with cloud infrastructure needs, both public and private, and security. In this sense, the Spanish firm is focused on 'e-commerce' platforms due to its "experience in infrastructure management", according to the Aire group.

"This operation is great news that is part of our national and international growth strategy, which has been defined in recent years by the integration of companies that allow us to reinforce our commitment to customers, offering increasingly complete technological solutions and personalized", highlighted the CEO of the Aire group, Raúl Aledo.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Teradisk, David Aguilar, has stressed that they are "delighted" to "join forces" with the Aire group.

"Thanks to the expanding infrastructure of Grupo Aire and the 'private' and 'public cloud' services that are already offered, our clients will benefit from new services, end-to-end structures managed by us and, ultimately, will a qualitative leap at all levels, ensuring peace of mind as a service that we have been offering", he added.
