Sumar has criticized the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for presenting himself for an investiture that "will fail" due to not having sufficient support, for which he has reiterated that "the only possible way" is the formation of a "progressive government with multinational sensitivity" based on the results of the elections on July 23.

Sources from the party led by Yolanda Díaz have accused the PP leader of leading "all Spanish citizens" to an investiture that "everyone knows will fail." "This investiture will not go about the problems of Spain, but about the problems of Feijóo", they have lamented.

From Sumar they have expressed that Feijóo "was defeated on July 23" by not achieving an absolute majority with Vox and also in the constitution of the Table of Congress, whose presidency fell to the socialist Francina Armengol. Thus, they anticipate that the PP candidate "will return" to be "defeated" in his investiture session.
