March 14, 15 and 16, 2024 will mark history for the Institute of Advanced Postgraduate Studies in Dentistry (IPAO) thanks to its participation in the seventeenth edition of Expodental. From their position in Hall 6 – Stand 6A03, they connected with great personalities in the dental industry and dental training. However, the main novelty of this edition was the presentation of two new dental training programs, aimed at the branches of pediatric dentistry and periodontics.

Madrid, April 25, 2024.- After 16 successfully held editions, Expodental has once again established itself as the stellar meeting point for both organizations and professionals in the dental industry. Mainly, it focuses its efforts on dental innovation. In addition, it offers the opportunity to universities and training centers that present their academic programs, both undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education in dentistry. This is what the Institute of Advanced Postgraduate Studies in Dentistry (IPAO) has done, which in collaboration with the University Distance from Madrid (UDIMA), they offer both theoretical and practical development of the main dental specialties. With more than 500 registered dentists trained in recent years, its educational offer presents different Masters in Dentistry with its own qualification, designed with an approach that highlights the practical component of the courses, guaranteeing high-level training in knowledge and skills.Expodental 2024 It was the perfect event to publicize everything they can offer in their training centers. That is why they took advantage of the edition to present their two new programs: the Master in Pediatric Dentistry, Interceptive Orthopedics and Introduction to RNO and the Course in Surgical Periodontics, Advanced Implantology and Treatment of Peri-implantitis. •   Master in Pediatric Dentistry, Interceptive Orthopedics and Introduction to RNO. This program is designed for dentists who wish to specialize in children's dental care. It offers comprehensive training that stands out for its focus on child behavior management, as well as interceptive Orthodontics to early correct dentofacial disharmonies and provide proactive solutions that will positively impact the oral and facial development of pediatric patients.• Course on Surgical Periodontics, Advanced Implantology and Treatment of Peri-implantitis. This course offers the student a learning method based on the theoretical and practical development of resective and regenerative periodontal surgical techniques, implant surgery and periodontal plastic surgery with Evidence-Based Justification in both animal models and human simulation models to acquire the necessary psychomotor skills. In addition to the presentation of these two new training courses, visits were also the order of the day during the three days of the Expodental 2024 event. The Vice-Rector of the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA), Juan Luis Rubio, surprised to the IPAO team with their visit, and it was not the only one, since the directors of the postgraduate programs were also participants in this edition and shared their experiences and projects.
