Sánchez launches for the vote of undecided women and young people for the final stretch of the campaign

He claims his work in the PSOE and recalls that when he arrived at the General Secretariat there was talk of sinking and sorpasso

The Prime Minister and PSOE candidate for the general elections on July 23, Pedro Sánchez, has asked that undecided women and young people support the Socialists at the polls. He has also stressed that in the election you do not choose between Sánchez or Spain, as in his opinion the right tries to propose, but that citizens must decide between a socialist Executive or another of PP and Vox in coalition.

In addition, he has vindicated his work at the head of the party and recalled that when he arrived at the General Secretariat there was talk of the possible collapse of even the sorpasso of Podemos, but they have managed to survive that onslaught. In this way, he has continued to appeal to the epic to convey to his voters that victory at the polls is possible.

At a rally in Barcelona together with the leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, the president of the Congress of Deputies and head of the list for Barcelona, Meritxell Batet and the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, Sánchez called for mobilization to that no vote stays at home. Around 3,000 supporters attended the event, according to Ferraz sources.

This has been addressed especially to women and has warned them that those who think that their place "is at home" what they want is to stay at home on July 23 and not go to deposit their ballot. "But you have to go out and vote for the PSOE", she has claimed.

Along the same lines, he has appealed to young people -- "I know there are many who are undecided", among them, he pointed out - and has warned that what is at stake in these elections is the future of Spain and therefore "its future ".

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that Sánchez participated in the podcast 'La Pija y la Quinqui' - in an episode that was published this Sunday - a less common format with a high audience among young people. In this regard, sources from Moncloa are satisfied with the result and the impact that the episode is having in which the chief executive, in a casual tone, talks about his musical tastes and other personal issues of his.

Sánchez has also indicated that opting for the PP and Vox can lead to "regression" but only choosing the PSOE ballot guarantees that Spain advances, he has emphasized.

"This is not about Sánchez or Spain, it is about a Sánchez government or one of Feijóo in coalition with Abascal," he warned, while insisting that if he is re-elected he will govern with Sumar, the formation of the vice president first Yolanda Diaz. "I have it clear, or I say bluntly and openly," he emphasized.

On the other side, he considers that there can only be a government in coalition of the two forces on the right "even if they don't say so and it embarrasses them," he pointed out in reference to the Popular Party.

Therefore, he has asked citizens to come en masse to vote on July 23 for a Spain "that advances united in its diversity" and in which everyone can fit. On the contrary, he has warned that in the project that Feijóo and Abascal defend "only they fit".

KEEP APPEALING TO THE EPIC TO WIN

On the other hand, the leader of the Socialists has continued to appeal to the epic to win the elections on July 23, following the line that he marked this Saturday in Valencia. If there he appealed to the victories he had reaped in his political career "against all odds", this Sunday he indicated that when he arrived at the General Secretariat, in 2014 the PSOE was in a delicate situation and there was talk of a possible "collapse" at the polls.

In this sense, he pointed out that at that time there was talk of the "pasokization" of the PSOE, in reference to the process experienced by the socialists in Greece who found themselves surpassed by Syriza, the party equivalent to Podemos in Spain and of an imminent sorpasso of the purple ones

Thus, he has indicated that this situation was found but that the PSOE survived that "onslaught of the conservative forces" and of those who wanted Podemos to surpass the PSOE at the polls.

Along the same lines, he has reiterated that in 2018 he presented a motion of no confidence "for which nobody gave a penny", with which they managed to "expel corruption" and later, in 2019, they had to call two general elections "with Catalonia burning" to end up forming a government of progress. He has finally indicated that on July 23 they will win the elections again in order to have four more years of progressive government.

BRIEF APPEAL TO CATALONIA

Sánchez has once again defended his management and has assured that he will win the elections because his government has done "well" throughout the legislature. Among his achievements, he has mentioned the situation in Catalonia, pointing out that the situation today is much better than in 2017, when there was "discord, fragmentation and trouble", as he has indicated.

He also expressed his chest about the country's economic situation and pointed out that Spain is currently growing and creating jobs "like never before" and also controls inflation "like no other of the major European economies."

Finally, he has defended his policy of pacts, after the criticism launched by the right for his agreements with Bildu and ERC, and has indicated that he has sought votes "even under the stones" to achieve social advances throughout the legislature. On the contrary, he has reproached the PP and Vox for agreeing to curtail rights and freedoms.
