The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, denounced this Tuesday a Ukrainian attack with cluster bombs against the town of Klimovo.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired cluster munitions at the village of Klimovo. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. Damage was reported to several residential buildings and outbuildings," the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, published in his official Telegram channel.

Furthermore, during the same night, Russia's air defense shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Trubchevsky district, in the Bryansk region, without any casualties or damage.

"An attempt by Ukrainian terrorists to carry out an attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle was stopped (...) it was destroyed over the Trubchevsky district (...) there were no victims or damage," Bogomaz assured. .

At the end of August, British Intelligence services stated that Russia's air defense systems would be having "difficulties" in detecting and destroying drones launched by Ukraine, before emphasizing that "most likely, Russia is again think about its defensive posture in the area between Ukraine and Moscow to better confront these attacks.

In fact, the same source updated that Moscow had already managed to "recalibrate the posture" of its air defense systems around the capital in the face of the latest attacks within the framework of the invasion of Ukraine, unleashed in February 2022.
