The third vice president of the Government and minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, has assured that the headquarters of the new National Energy Commission (CNE) will be in Madrid, "in the same city where it was before."

Likewise, he criticized the suspicions of those who question the independence of the new regulator and affirm that it will be at the service of the Executive.

Surely they must have thought about it when the Aznar Government created it and when it lasted more than twenty years," he said in this regard, questioning: "Who is surprised that, like 25 other member states of the Union European Union, recover something that has already existed here until the day before yesterday?"

On the other hand, Ribera estimated that the publication by the Government of the methodology for updating the remuneration for the operation of facilities with a specific cogeneration remuneration regime could occur "around the summer."
