Red Mundo Atlántico (RMA) participates in the event that under the motto "Cultural heritage and convergence of cultures", is held from June 2 to 4 in Zniyed, Tangier. It will be the 11th edition of the Mata International Festival, one of the most important equestrian events in the Mediterranean. Mata means riding bareback, wrist, witness... Mata is a wild, emotional, mystical race, an ancestral sport typical of Arab countries, in some the tradition is celebrated with a lamb or its skin, in Tangier it is the women who make the symbol of the fight: a doll. This XI edition confirms the commitment of Mr. Nabil Baraka, president of the Festival, to promote this authentic intangible heritage north of Morocco and serving as a meeting point for representatives of Portugal, Spain and Morocco, the three sister countries presenting their joint candidacy for the 2030 Soccer World Cup."Open to all continents, Mata is today a space for coexistence and of cultural, social and economic exchange", affirms the president of the festival, Nabil Baraka. The 2022 edition received more than 200,000 national and international visitors and attracted more than 240 riders from different tribes, also counting on 60 cooperatives from the south and from northern Morocco, as well as from Mauritania, to exhibit their products. Among the many Moroccan and African authorities that will be present, the presence of the Spanish ambassador in Morocco, Ricardo Díez-Hochleitner Rodríguez, and a representation of the embassy of Portugal in Morocco. The Administrator of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Portugal (AEP) Paulo Vaz, the President of Red Mundo Atlántico, Mariano Gómez-Ulla and its executive director, Guillermo Taboada participate in the event. Among the long list of guests are businessmen such as Patrick Hermés, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Caveda, CEO of 3AW Global CEO of 3AW and CEO of BeHappy Investments; Blanca Rudilla Asensio, President of ICA; Carlos Reinoso, spokesman for the Alliance for Competitiveness; Gema Correa, founder of Lycolé; sports journalists like Siro López; Notable media such as National Geographic, Vanity Fair, Forbes, Hola, RNE, Radio Extremadura, La Razón, Castilla-La Mancha TV or Channel 22 in Mexico and influencers such as Putos Modernos, Carlos Arnelas, the painter Covadonga Tellaeche, the horseman David López del Moral, or the businesswoman of "Amarsupiel", Ana Vilaseca. Red Mundo Atlântico (RMA) is a non-profit association that forms an innovative ecosystem for businesses with an inclusive culture in the Atlantic axis, created by a group of Spanish businessmen and the PORTUGAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION AEP.
