BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Next In Natural, the firm specializing in custom operations for emerging organic food and beverage companies, is pleased to announce the expansion of a new M&A division and the appointment of Ted Tieken as future director at the helm.

In his role as Future Director, Tieken will be responsible for identifying and evaluating companies to be included in the Next in Natural framework. Ideal candidates have between $5 million and $50 million in revenue, preferably in the salty snacks and beverages sector, and the founders are at an inflection point. These candidates often have a proven product, but need support to reengineer or expand their business. "That's where Next in Natural comes in," Lichtenstein noted. "Our unique operating model allows founders to do what they do best while we take care of the rest."

In addition to focusing on identifying and evaluating new companies, Tieken will also lead Next in Natural's inaugural capital raising, support the company's commitment to R&D, and provide operational guidance to accelerate the growth of the company's portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Next in Natural, Tieken served for ten years as founder and CEO of Keto and Co, a provider of low-carb snacks, baking mixes and ready-to-drink meal shakes. He was an acclaimed analyst at the consulting firm McKinsey and Co, and has a bachelor's degree in Social Studies from Harvard University.
