The 1.0005-ounce .9995 fine silver coin is limited to mintage in the West Point Mint plus a launch of 15,000 coins, using a household-order limitation of a single coin.

The coin is the first in a series running through 2025 with layouts specializing in the fundamentals of the First Amendment.

The obverse of this 2021 coin depicts a seedling and an acorn, surrounded by the inscription WITH FREEDOM OF RELIGION / LIBERTY GROWS.

The layout Was Made by Donna Weaver, a U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist and retired U.S. Mint sculptor-engraver, and sculpted from Chief U.S. Mint Engraver Joseph F. Menna.

The frequent reverse to the series was made by AIP artist Patricia Lucas-Morris and sculpted by Donald Everhart II, today retired lead-sculptor engraver for the Mint.

The frequent reverse to the show portrays an eagle in flight, using an olive branch found tightly in its talons.
