The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has terminated the orange warning that has been active due to significant risk due to the storm, although it maintains the yellow warning due to the risk of rain and storms throughout the Region of Murcia, according to Aemet sources consulted. by Europa Press.

Specifically, the warning for rain in the Altiplano, Northwest and Vega del Segura regions is active due to rainfall that can reach 25 millimeters in one hour from 11:00 a.m. to 9:59 p.m., with a probability that ranges between 40 and 70%

On the other hand, the yellow warning is active in Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca, Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón due to rainfall that can reach 20 millimeters in one hour from 11:00 a.m. to 7:59 p.m., with a probability that oscillates between 40 and 70%.

On the other hand, Vega del Segura is active due to rains that can reach 90 milliliters accumulated in 12 hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:59 p.m., with a probability that ranges between 40 and 70%.

In Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca, Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, the yellow warning is active due to rainfall that can reach 60 millimeters in 12 hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:59 p.m., with a probability ranging between 40 and 70 %.

For its part, the yellow warning for storms is active in the Northwest, Altiplano and Vega del Segura regions until 9:59 p.m. this Tuesday; and in the case of the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca, Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón it will be active until 7:59 p.m.

The Emergency Coordination Center has recalled that the yellow level warning for storms indicates that strong storms are expected in the affected warning area. Given the nature of these phenomena, there is the possibility that storms of higher intensity may occur in a timely manner.
