María Jesús Montero vindicates the good "forms" in politics against those who seek to turn it into a "swamp"

The Minister of Finance and Public Function, María Jesús Montero, has vindicated this Friday the importance that, in her opinion, have good "forms" in politics, and has warned against those who "pretend" that said activity becomes a "slough ".

This has been conveyed by the also deputy general secretary of the PSOE during her speech to present the mayor of Seville and socialist candidate for re-election, Antonio Muñoz, at an informative meeting organized in the Andalusian capital by Europa Press Andalucía in collaboration with Fundación Cajasol and sponsored by Cepsa, Atlantic Copper, Azvi and Grupo Abades.

María Jesús Montero has praised the figure and the work of the Seville mayor and has appreciated that, in his capacity as mayor, "he takes the voice of Seville wherever he believes it is necessary to defend the interests of the city, with a kind but also pretty firm."

In this line, the socialist minister has defended that Muñoz has "his own style" and "effective", "forceful but at the same time affable and pleasant", something that is always "thankful", as he has valued, to add below that "politics cannot be the quagmire that some claim in this permanent attempt to generate citizen disaffection or feed tension or anti-politics."

"Politics is the tool that we democrats have to transform reality; they are values ​​that we defend, an ideology in which we believe, but they are also the ways in which we reflect on ourselves," the minister said.

Along these lines, Montero has warned that "when one moves away from respect and the minimum rules that mark education and democratic coexistence, the one who loses is the citizenry as a whole, the quality of the system that we have endowed ourselves with" , reason why "the forms matter, and they do it a lot, and Antonio (Muñoz) shows off it", as he has sentenced.
