Real Madrid-Valencia Basket, Barça-Unicaja, Lenovo Tenerife-Gran Canaria and Cazoo Baskonia-Joventut are the quarterfinal pairings of the 2022-23 Copa del Rey basketball, which will take place from February 16 to 19 in the Badalona Olympic Games, according to the draw held this Monday at the BCIN Center for Conventions and Businesses in the Barcelona town.

The act was chaired by the mayor of Badalona, ​​Rubén Guijarro, and the president of the acb, Antonio Martín. Real Madrid, Barça, Lenovo Tenerife and Cazoo Baskonia started as the top seeds in the draw for the crosses between the eight best clubs in the Endesa League, including the host Joventut.

The white team, as the leader at the end of the first round, will play the quarterfinals on Thursday against Valencia Basket. Barça will also face Unicaja on Thursday, while the Canarian derby Lenovo Tenerife-Gran Canaria and Bakonia-Joventut will be played on Friday, February 17.

There will be no Clásico in the Cup final, as Real Madrid and Barça would meet in the semifinals on Saturday (6:30 p.m.) in the event of eliminating Valencia Basket and Unicaja, respectively.
