Juanpe López renews with the Trek-Segafredo until

The cyclist Juanpe López will continue in the Trek-Segafredo team for the next three seasons, until 2025, after both parties reach a renewal agreement, and the Spaniard hopes to repay the trust placed in him with victories and show that he can be a champion of a Grand Tour .

"Juanpe López has signed a contract extension that allows him to remain in the team colors until 2025. Despite the current contract for 2023, López and Trek-Segafredo have committed to two more years together," the team announced.

A renewal that leaves the 25-year-old from Lebrija happy. "Since joining Trek-Segafredo in 2019 I have grown a lot as a person and a rider. I feel like the environment the team has created has been perfect for me and my ride and continues to be where I want to be," he said.

Juanpe López stood out for the first time in a Grand Tour at this year's Giro d'Italia, when he wore the leader's 'pink jersey' for ten days and finished tenth overall.
