Jacobo Caller will leave his position as CEO of Food Delivery Brands (Telepizza) to undertake new projects

MADRID, 20 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Jacobo Caller has informed Food Delivery Brands (FDB) of his intention to resign as CEO of the group to take on a new professional project, as announced this Wednesday by the company, which is in the final stage of its restructuring process.

However, Caller will continue in his current position to support the restaurant group that manages Telepizza and Pizza Hut in Spain in the final part of the restructuring process.

The company has explained that the board of directors has begun the search for a new director and will work closely with representatives of the group of creditors and future owners of FDB to elect the new CEO.

"Leading this great company through unprecedented challenges for our industry and society has been an immense honor. I am extraordinarily proud of what we have achieved together, despite the difficulties we have faced over these last three years," he said. Caller.

He also added that now that the restructuring process is practically complete, he believes it is the "right time for someone else to take the reins in this new chapter for FBD."

For his part, the newly appointed president of Food Delivery Brands, Julián Díaz, thanked Caller for his "solid leadership and extraordinary dedication" to Food Delivery Brands during a period of "unprecedented" change.

The company has explained that the restructuring continues as planned and that judicial approval of the Restructuring Plan is expected in the coming weeks.
