The Ministry of the Interior has communicated to the former leader of Vox Macarena Olona the existence of formal defects that prevent the registration of the new political formation with which it intends to run in the general elections on July 23, 'Caminando Juntos'.

Sources from the Department led by Fernando Grande-Marlaska have confirmed to Europa Press that they have asked the promoters of 'Caminando Juntos' to correct certain deficiencies in the statutes, a process for which the deadline is due.

Olona herself has revealed the delay in the registration of 'Caminando Juntos' in an interview on Canal Sur, collected by Europa Press. According to her, she has assured, this Wednesday the maximum period for correcting errors ends.

The former leader of Vox has explained that she learned in Seville of the announcement by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to advance the general elections and did not have "a preconceived plan" to attend them. Olona will head the list for the province of Granada, where the last position will be occupied by a former colleague at Vox, Ramón Quesada. In addition, he has revealed that he will head the list for Cádiz Héctor Párraga, labor lawyer and former president of the Más Madrid Guarantees Committee.

In Malaga, number one will be occupied by José Luis Cortés, also a former Vox militant; The same as the list for Seville, where the former leader of Vox Diego Romero, the attorney Silvia Carrión and the president of 'Somos España', Luis Nogués, will join.
