IESE and Esade repeat as the second and fourth best business schools in executive training, according to 'FT'

IESE Business School and Esade Business School have once again ranked among the top ten business schools in the world for executive training, once again occupying second and fourth place, respectively.

This is reflected in the 'Financial Times' (FT) 'Executive Education 2023' ranking, which has placed IESE Business School in second position in the ranking and Esade Business School as the fourth best business school in the world for executive training.

As in the previous edition, the first position in the 'Financial Times' ranking goes to HEC Paris, followed by IESE Business School, which also ranked second in 2022; Insead, in Fontainebleau (France) in third position; and ESADE Business School in fourth place, the same position in the ranking as in the previous year.

They complete the ranking of the ten best business schools in the world for executive training London Business School, International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Fundaçao Dom Cabral, University of Michigan: Ross, Essec Business School, SDA Bocconi School of Management and SMT Berlin.

After learning about the results of the ranking, the director of Esade Executive Education, Josep Franch, has assessed that the consolidation of the academic institution as the fourth best school in the world for executive training highlights "the excellence and quality" of its programs which, in In his words, "they are designed for the acquisition, updating and development of the skills that managers need when dealing with the current context, marked by complexity and diversity, and where technology is the protagonist".

To respond to the needs of both managers and companies, Esade has developed "highly personalized, flexible and specialized" training based on the latest immersive technologies.

The Executive Education ranking of 'Financial Times' is drawn up from the opinion of the participants, and is broken down into two sections: open training (Open) and tailor-made training for companies (Custom). In 'Open', Esade Executive Education has risen one position this year and has placed itself as the third best in the world.

"The 'Open' programs have been recognized as the third best in the world, standing out for the 360º orientation of their educational experience", explains Josep Franch.

Within the section on 'Custom' programs, or tailor-made for companies, the British publication has placed Esade Executive Education in 12th place worldwide.

"These results reinforce our aspiration to become the reference partner in Lifelong Learning for individuals and organizations, recognized for teaching innovation, cutting-edge content and training in values", concludes Franch.

For its part, in the 'Open' programs, IESE has led the world ranking in this category; while in 'Custom' programs, it reached fourth position.

According to IESE, this result "further consolidates" IESE's position as one of the "leading" management training schools in the world. Since 2015, the institution highlights, IESE's executive training programs have been ranked 1 or 2 worldwide in this ranking.

"This year, the FT has highlighted the satisfaction of IESE participants, the relevance of its programs, its internationality, and the quality of its faculty and participants," the business school highlighted.
