Gamarra puts an "expiration date" on "sanchismo" after May 28: "It's time to finish off"

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has today set an "expiration date for sanchismo" on July 23, in the general elections, in which, she has said: "It is time to finish off the change."

Gamarra has gone to Logroño today to hold a meeting with people in charge of electoral colleges of the Popular Party of La Rioja to thank them for their work in the elections of May 28 and to transfer the request that they continue "working".

After last May 28, in which the PP of La Rioja recovered the government as part of a national current, Gamarra has warned, in statements to the media, that "it was not only about the change last Sunday, but that a week later we already have the expiration date of Sanchismo".

"And that expiration date for Sanchismo is next July 23. That is why we have the possibility and we have the obligation to finish, the Spaniards, what we started last Sunday and that the change does materialize with the end of Sanchismo in the the year 2023. It's time to finish it off," he asserted.

Gamarra has understood that "the result of the polls last Sunday is the result of a call for moderation" and, for this reason, he has assured that the PP campaign "will be calm, serene, moderate as Spanish society is" .

The socialist president, Pedro Sánchez, said Gamarra, "the fronton of Spanish society is going to find that is going to return all those balls of tension, insults, disqualification."

The Popular Party, has indicated, "is going to work during this campaign so that on July 23 we put an end to sanchismo" and "materialize the political change in Spain that has had a first part that was played last Sunday but that has a second part" on July 23.

With respect to the lists, he has pointed out how, from the PP, they have just activated the party machinery "and there is time ahead to make an approach of what the lists will be".

"The Popular Party is already activated and, since last Monday, with the call for general elections by Pedro Sánchez, the entire organization has been activated again to achieve the goal of winning the next general elections," he stated.
