Gamarra criticizes Sánchez for turning politics into "absolute marketing": "It is not a way to govern the country"

MADRID, 14 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has criticized that the "agonizing" Government of Pedro Sánchez turns the day-to-day life of politics into "absolute marketing", after having agreed with Junts on Catalonia's immigration policy.

"This is not a way to govern the country," he said this Sunday in an interview in 'El Correo', collected by Europa Press, in which he analyzed current political events.

Gamarra has blamed Sánchez for allowing himself to be "constantly extorted" because of his ambition to remain in power. "By obtaining an investiture he has left Spain in misgovernment," he indicated.

The popular secretary has defended that the agreements reached by the PP with other parties are subject to certain principles. "Sánchez is the only politician in Spain capable of crossing all the lines because he has none. All the agreements of the Popular Party with other formations are subject to principles that the PP never crosses and give stability wherever it governs," he said. explained.

Likewise, it defends that there be criminal responsibilities if crimes are committed through a political formation. "The PP promotes the protection of the constitutional order in the face of the lack of protection to which Sánchez is subjecting it," he stated.

On the other hand, Gamarra has alluded to Basque politics and has accused the PNV of supporting "communist and socialist policies" that "weigh down the competitiveness" of Euskadi, as well as of having become "a crutch for Pedro Sánchez."

"The PNV has not done and is not doing a good business supporting Sánchez with left-wing, communist and socialist policies, which what they are doing is hindering the competitiveness and growth possibilities of a community like Euskadi, with great possibilities of growth," he adds.
