The American company Ford will return to the Formula 1 World Cup as a driver for the Red Bull and AlphaTauri teams in 2026, coinciding with the change in regulations in the World Cup, and "until at least" 2030, according to a statement from the North American manufacturer.
"After more than two decades, Ford returns to Formula 1. The iconic American automaker and Red Bull Powertrains have entered a long-term strategic and technical partnership for the development of the next-generation single-seater engine that will be used at starting in 2026", the company announced, confirming that it will be a driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri "until at least 2030".
