Firefighters rescue two people from inside the burning building in Campanar with two cranes

Neighbors receive those rescued with applause

The firefighters have rescued two people from inside the burning building in the neighborhood of Campanar, in Valencia, amid the applause of the people who were in the area.

The maneuver to rescue two people who had been on the balcony since the start of the fire was carried out with two cranes: one controlled the fire on the lower floors and the other moved closer to be able to remove those affected from the balcony.

Throughout the afternoon, firefighters have been cooling the area where these people were trapped with jets of water to lower the temperature and prevent the fire from approaching them, which was just on the upper floor and has reached surround them.

While the two cranes rescued these people, a third has joined the work of extinguishing the fire.
