Feijóo denounces a "surrealist clamp" by PSOE and Vox against the PP and accuses Sánchez of wanting to "destroy the opposition"

MADRID, 26 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has denounced this Sunday a "surreal clamp" of PSOE and Vox against the Popular Party and has accused the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, of wanting to "destroy the opposition". Having said this, he has promised to begin, after the May elections, the "reconstruction" of an "economically stagnant" Spain in which the institutions have been "weakened".

This was pronounced at the presentation of the PP framework program that was held in a hotel in Guadalajara, together with the president of the party in Castilla-La Mancha and candidate, Paco Núñez. The event was attended by numerous officials from the PP leadership, such as the party's general secretary, Cuca Gamarra; the general coordinator of the party, Elías Bendodo; almost all the deputy secretaries general; and several presidents of the formation, such as Fernando López Miras from Murcia, Marga Prohens from the Balearic Islands or Javier García from Navarre.

A few days after the failed motion of no confidence promoted by Santiago Abascal with the economist Ramón Tamames as a candidate, the leader of the PP has charged against PSOE and Vox. "Some and others faced each other, but with coincident strategies they intend to form a surreal clamp against the PP and against Feijóo," he stated.

Later, Feijóo has blamed the PSOE and Pedro Sánchez for "manipulating" what he says and changing his statements, a response that occurs after in an act with the Hispanic community he showed his pride for not paying "homage to rulers autocrats", alluding to Venezuela according to 'popular' sources, words that have been harshly criticized by Sánchez and the PSOE coinciding with the Ibero-American Summit attended by the King.

"It is curious, they have such a high democratic deficit that they want to destroy the opposition, it bothers them that we can speak, that we can give our opinion, they manipulate what we say. They change the meaning of our words and their fundamental objective is that there is no opposition in a democratic regime," he asserted.

The leader of the PP has affirmed that "the guarantee of democracy is the opposition, not only the Government". "It is the responsible opposition, not just an irresponsible government," he proclaimed, garnering loud applause from the audience.

After assuring that the PP "is with the people", he has indicated that the objective of his electoral program is to "improve the lives of citizens" and the "on" defense of public services, ensuring that they manage health "better" than socialist posts.

In addition, he has expressed his party's commitment to "reducing the tax burden" suffered by citizens and has also set himself the objective of "beginning the reconstruction of an economically stagnant Spain", which has "weakened" the institutions and has "more people at risk of poverty than ever.
