Escrivá, against surrogate motherhood: "There are women who have to use their bodies for something they don't want"

MADRID, 30 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, has today expressed his opposition to the regularization of surrogacy and has recalled the vulnerability of migrant women who may be forced into these practices.

"I am the Minister of Migration and Inclusion, we always work with the most vulnerable people and we see very harsh realities, with mafias that use very vulnerable women who, sometimes, end up having to use their bodies for things they do not want," he explained. Write in an interview on Onda Cero collected by Europa Press.

For the minister "they are terrible dramas" and he has suggested "being directly with migrant women who end up in prostitution mafias" to understand the situation and "internalize" this reality. Given this, Escrivá added that "the design of the regulatory framework is highly relevant in each case."
