Dressmaker Francis Montesinos arrested for alleged sexual assault on a minor

Agents of the Civil Guard have arrested a man on Monday in Llíria (Valencia) as the alleged perpetrator of the sexual assault of a minor, as reported by the armed institute. The person arrested, as confirmed to Europa Press by sources close to the investigation, is the Valencian couturier Francis Montesinos.

The investigations began in 2022 for the denunciation of the crimes of extortion, against privacy, disclosure of secrets, burglary, illegal detention, robbery with violence and injuries, of which, at that time, the detainee was a victim.

However, as a result of the investigation carried out, evidence has been obtained that justifies his detention, according to the Civil Guard. Sources familiar with the arrest have told Europa Press that Montesinos' rights have been read, he has been informed of the case and has been released while waiting to be called by the judge investigating the facts.

The couturier had denounced having been extorted in September of last year, allegedly by a young man, who asked him for an amount of money so as not to broadcast a video with images that committed him to the designer. For this reason, the investigation began in which the couturier has now been arrested, who has been released after carrying out a series of proceedings.
