The second vice president of the Government and acting Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, has stated that the labor reform approved this Friday in Greece, which allows, among other things, to work up to six days a week and working days of up to 13 hours, represents an path to "involution."

The Greek Parliament approved this Friday a labor reform, promoted by the conservative government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which allows, among other measures, to impose a sixth day of working hours and for workers to voluntarily opt for a second job of up to eight hours a day. , which added to the main activity of eight hours a day, allows workers to work up to 13 hours a day.

Likewise, it introduces a contract for "on-call employees" which in reality means that workers will not have a fixed schedule, but will work when the employer requires it, as long as there is prior notice of at least 24 hours in advance.
