The extraordinary Government Council approves filing two unconstitutionality appeals against the amnesty and debt forgiveness

VALLADOLID, 4 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has announced that the Community will be "firm and blunt" against the "abuse of power" of the acting president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to "privilege his partners" and has reported that the extraordinary Government Council, meeting this Saturday, has approved authorizing the advisor to the Presidency, Luis Miguel González Gago, to "immediately" challenge the "transfers" of the leader of the central Executive to the independentists when these are materialize.

This Saturday, the Governing Council of the Junta analyzed the proposals for political agreements on amnesty and financial measures, known on November 2, within the framework of the negotiations for the formation of the Government.

This text, Mañueco explained, includes measures that could "attack the principles of the rule of law, the separation of powers and the principle of equality in Spain through the amnesty", as well as "undermine" public financing and resources for the maintenance of essential services for the citizens of Castilla y León, through financial and economic measures of "privileges".

For this reason, the autonomous Administration has adopted two agreements, the first of which is to initiate the procedure for the "immediate" challenge by means of an unconstitutionality appeal before the Constitutional Court of the formal materialization that occurs of the political agreements on the amnesty.

On the other hand, it has also been agreed to initiate the procedure to challenge, through the same procedure, against the formal materialization of the financial and economic measures included in the same political agreements before the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court or National Court, depending on the institution. to adopt and materialize the agreement.

In this framework, Mañueco has stressed that the Government of Castilla y León is going to be "firm and categorical" in the defense of the Spanish Constitution, the Rule of Law and principles such as freedom, equality, solidarity and also national cohesion.

"In the face of the abuses of power that Sánchez is committing, privileging some partners and offending the rest, from the Government we will exercise the leadership that corresponds to us to defend the people of Castile and Leon before justice," the president stated.

"POLITICAL ABERRATION"

Likewise, Mañueco has pointed out that the amnesty is "an attack on the rule of law and a political aberration" and has pointed out that the amnesty is Sánchez's "submission to the separatists, an inadmissible concession" whose "negative consequences will be for all the Spanish people".

On the other hand, the president of the Community has stated that, regarding the issue of debt forgiveness, Sánchez "will pay 15,000 million euros to his partners for the taxes of all Spaniards to keep his seat" and, therefore , the leader of the central Executive has gone "from a sale to an absolute scam for votes."

"You cannot punish an autonomous community like Castilla y León, which we have managed effectively and which, in addition, we have been able to lower taxes while containing the debt and have the best public services in all of Spain," highlighted Mañueco.

Finally, he stressed that Spain "must continue on the constitutional path" and, in Castilla y León, it will "always be in firm defense of the rule of law, of the municipalities, of freedom, equality, solidarity and in the framework of coexistence".
