In a match with minimal advantages and characterized by equality, the Huelva native, triple world champion and six times European champion, neutralized the initial 3-1 with which the fourth seed of the Indonesian tournament tried to surprise her.

Marín led the final stretch of the first set (18-16), but a 5-0 run gave the Asian player the upper hand. In the second, the Andalusian started with a 3-0 and reached the equator with a juicy 6 (12-6). However, Chen Yu Fei was in charge of ending the contest by winning 11 of the last 14 points.
