Bendodo says that he will not withdraw or slow down the processing of the law on Doñana and denounces "hoaxes" by Sánchez

MADRID, 5 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has assured this Friday that he will not withdraw or slow down the processing of the law on irrigation in Doñana and has accused the Government of Pedro Sánchez of spreading "hoaxes" and "fakes" in relation to this issue.

This has been pronounced in an interview on Antena 3, which has been collected by Europa Press, after the third vice president of the Government, Teresa Ribera, has stated that the only valid option is for the Andalusian government of Juanma Moreno to withdraw that irrigation law and put it back in the trash.

When asked why they freeze the processing of this proposal, Bendodo stated that "this is not the case" and explained that the PP has not "withdrawn" or "slowed down any initiative with respect to Doñana" but rather continues its "parliamentary course". for your approval.

That said, he explained that what there is this month of May is the appearance of "experts" and "collectives" in the Andalusian Parliament to "contribute their ideas to the initiative." And when this procedure of "hearing all parties" is fulfilled, he has continued, "it will be approved." "Therefore, I can tell you that the parliamentary approval process is still underway," he added.

Bendodo has stressed that the Andalusian Parliament has also requested the appearance of Vice President Teresa Ribera and has criticized that "she has already said no", something that, in his opinion, constitutes the "second insult" to the Andalusians after referring to Doñana with "contempt" when speaking of "that little corner of Spain".

"I know that the government of Juan Manuel Moreno is anxious to meet with the government of Spain and for the vice president to make her proposals, because, I insist, the PSOE and Pedro Sánchez in this case, on the subject of Doñana, have built a hoax, a fake that is being dismantled day by day", has ended.
