Bendodo (PP) leaves the beneficiaries of the thermal bonus to decide if they renounce it and calls it another "botch" by Sánchez

MADRID, 16 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general coordinator of the Popular Party, Elías Bendodo, has spoken this Thursday after it was made public that the vice president and Minister of Education and Universities of the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ossorio, has benefited from the thermal social bonus launched by the Government and has considered it a personal decision to give up this aid, which he has described as "botch".

Although Ossorio is not the only one who has benefited from this measure. The husband of the spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Assembly, Mónica García, also receives the thermal social bonus, as does the spokesperson for the 'popular' formation in the region, Alfonso Serrano.

"It is one more example of the botch work that the Government proposes. If the mechanism for giving aid had been reasonable, we would not have these situations," the general coordinator has sentenced in an interview for TVE, collected by Europa Press.

For Bendodo, if the Executive of Pedro Sánchez "had better limited the people who have access to this aid, they would not have been requested." "The Government should have given preference to vulnerable people who needed it the most," he stressed.

When asked if these charges should be retracted and stop benefiting from this aid, he concluded that it is "a personal decision of the people" who have requested and been granted: "His name says it, they are aid for vulnerable people" but this does not mean that the "Government has to put caps and limitations".

For his part, Ossorio already made it clear yesterday in a press conference that was held in an extraordinary way in Collado Villalba that he belongs to a large family and has "four children." "I receive the aid that exists for this type of family," he said.
