Bendodo accuses Sánchez of not voting for the 'only yes is yes' reform to "campaign in Doñana on lies"

GRANADA, 21 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has reproached this Friday the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, that yesterday he did not comply with his "obligation" to go to the Congress of Deputies to vote on the reform of the Law of 'only yes is yes and he will choose to "take the Falcón" and go to the Doñana National Park "to campaign on a lie".

During a public act in Granada in support of the PP candidate for mayor, Marifrán Carazo, Bendodo has stated that it is "false" that the Andalusian government is "attacking" Doñana as Pedro Sánchez maintains. He has indicated that the PSOE was the one that tried to implant "two bombs" in Doñana, a gas pipeline and a gas tank.

He has pointed out that after the PSOE lost Andalusia four years ago, Sánchez no longer has anything to "hold on to" and he only comes to this community to "lie" in relation to the bill that is being processed in Parliament on irrigation in the northern crown of Doñana.

Bendodo wanted to make it clear that the lands to which this law refers are 30 kilometers from the national park and it speaks of surface water and not the aquifer, which is protected. "You can no longer lie and think that we Andalusians are stupid," said the popular leader about Sánchez, whom he accused of not wanting to assume his responsibility for the "disastrous" law of 'only yes is yes', which has meant the lowering of the sentences of more than a thousand rapists or sexual aggressors and that more than a hundred have taken to the streets.

As he added, it had to be the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who has promoted the "paralysis of this bleeding" with the party's proposals for the reform of the law. As he has indicated, yesterday was a "very important" day for Spain because the PP "helped to amend an error and fix a botch job" and acted as a state party adding its votes to those of the PSOE to carry out the reform of the law. "Feijóo already works for Spain from the opposition," he pointed out.

For Bendodo, what Pedro Sánchez has to do in relation to Doñana is comply with the residents of the region and execute infrastructures that he committed, such as the San Silvestre tunnel or the Alcolea dam. "Don't come here to lie or tease us," said Bendodo, who reproached the government for coming to Andalusia in "his Falcon" precisely to talk about the environment.
