Banca March, the only Spanish bank among the best companies to work for in Europe

Banca March has repeated, for the third consecutive year, as the only Spanish bank among the best companies to work for in Europe, according to the ranking prepared by the independent consulting firm Great Place To Work.

The entity, which has the highest solvency in the Spanish financial system, participated in the category of large companies (more than 500 employees).

The consulting firm has recognized a total of 18 'Best Workplaces' in Spain as the best companies to work for in Europe. Thus, in addition to Banca March, there are the firms Reale Seguros, Pelayo, AbbVie, DHL Express, Cisco, Hilton, Salesforce, Admiral Group, Stryker, Kiabi, Equinix, Novo Nordisk, Theramex Healthcare, Software Delsol, Cívica Software and Incentro.

As for the entity of Balearic origin, according to the survey carried out by Great Place to Work, 9 out of 10 employees consider Banca March to be a great place to work and claim to be proud of the entity's achievements.

Thus, 91% of professionals claim to feel well received when they join the entity, 87% claim to receive good treatment, regardless of their position in the company, and 86% maintain that the entity's clients would value the service received as excellent.

The deputy general director of Banca March and head of the Human Resources Area, Anselmo Martín-Peñasco, has highlighted that being part of the European ranking of Great Place To Work for the third consecutive year, being the only Spanish bank that appears in it, "represents enormous satisfaction", while highlighting that Banca March is the financial entity that invests the most in training per employee.

He also recalled that last year, the investment reached 958 euros per person, which is more than quadrupling the sector average, while detailing that Banca March professionals receive an average of 138 hours of training per year," more than double the banking average."

In this edition of the Great Place To Work report, France becomes the country with the largest number of companies represented in the ranking, with 27 recognized firms; It is followed by the United Kingdom with 25, Germany with 20 and Turkey with 19, while behind Spain are Switzerland, Ireland and Italy with 17, Sweden with 15 and Poland with 14 award-winning companies.

The Best Workplaces Europe 2023 ranking is the result of analyzing the work experiences of more than 2.6 million employees, from a total of 3,350 companies, to identify the best 150 companies in Europe.
