Ukrainian authorities have reported that at least five people have been injured after a Russian attack overnight on Monday against the Kherson region.

"The Russian Army continues to cover Kherson with fire. Yesterday, around 9:00 p.m. local time, Kyselivka was attacked. Four people were wounded. Two men aged 28 and 64 and a woman aged 67. (...) Another victim 68 years old was taken to the hospital in moderate condition," the governor of Kherson, Prokudin Oleksndr, reported on his official Telegram channel.

In addition, he explained that another person had been injured in a previous attack against the same town.

On the other hand, a Russian missile attack destroyed a home in the Ukrainian city of Avdivka, in the Donetsk region, during the night of Monday, although no victims have been reported.

"The Russians destroyed another house in Avdivka. Tonight they launched an air missile attack throughout the city, and hit the fifth floor. According to preliminary information, no one was injured," the regional governor, Igor Moroz, said in his Facebook account.

"The house is now practically uninhabitable, like all of Avdivka. The consequences of this attack are carefully documented, sooner or later this evidence will be used against Russia in an international court," Moroz added.

For his part, the governor of Dnipro, Serhii Lysak, has announced that the city of Krivoy Rog, the birthplace of the country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky.
