The president of the commons in the Parliament, Jéssica Albiach, has criticized the president of Vox in the Chamber, Ignacio Garriga, after calling the commons "hyperventilating communists."

"Hyperventilated communist gentlemen, we will defend the legacy of our grandparents and the future of our children in legitimate defense," Garriga said in his speech during the control session with the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, in the plenary session of the Parliament.

At the beginning of his intervention, the Vox secretary also announced that he would not ask Aragonès any questions, but rather would give him a "warning" and charged against the president of the Government and against the PSC of Salvador Illa, whom he accused of being complicit, in his words, of the Government.

Likewise, Garriga has criticized that the PSC "defended the Constitution and now promotes ignoring it" and has accused it of betraying millions of Catalans.

"They will pay for it, you and Mr. Aragonès, have no doubt," he added.

In his turn to reply, the president of the Generalitat has called Garriga's speech a list of lies and has regretted that "serious threats have been made" that should not be accepted in Parliament against any person, deputy, worker or citizen. .

"As president of Catalonia I will work and I will give my all so that no citizen of this country has to suffer the threats that we have heard in a speech," said Aragonès.

Likewise, he has maintained that if Garriga's speech had taken place outside the chamber, "it would look like a speech announcing a coup d'état."
