About 250 people gather for the second time in front of Ferraz to protest the PSOE and ERC pact and the amnesty

Some 250 people, according to data from the Government Delegation, have gathered for the second consecutive day in front of the national headquarters of the PSOE in Madrid, on Ferraz Street, to protest the agreement between the socialists and ERC and the future amnesty law. ahead of the investiture of the candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.

The rally started this afternoon around 7:00 p.m. and was supported by the former president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, who encouraged those present to cut off traffic in the street while the protesters whistled and chanted "freedom." , so members of the UIP of the National Police have cordoned off the area.

The protesters have been opposed to the socialists' pact with ERC that includes, among other measures, an amnesty law that would favor those accused of the Catalan 'procés', the transfer of the powers of Rodalíes or the forgiveness of up to 15,000 million euros of debt from the Autonomous Liquidity Fund (FLA) to Catalonia.

On Friday, a rally was also called through social networks in Ferraz that was supported by organizations against Catalan nationalism such as 'Dolça Cataluña', and which brought together a thousand people carrying flags of Spain, some of Catalonia and with shouts like ' Pedro Sánchez to prison' or 'Spain is one and not 51'.

Friday's rally ended with a detainee for trying to jump the police cordon deployed, according to sources from the Government Delegation.
