About 1,500 attendees demonstrate on the sixteenth day in Ferraz with Miguel Ángel Blanco flags

The sixteenth day of protests on Ferraz Street has brought together 1,500 people - as reported by the Government Delegation -, with several of them carrying flags of Miguel Ángel Blanco, and where tension has been increasing among the protesters who have occupied the first rows of the concentration, since hooded people with their faces and mouths covered have arrived.

These protesters crowded on the front line, as has been happening in previous days, began to arrive at the concentration around 9:30 p.m. and, some time later, they began throwing objects at the press and the National Police, which caused them to have to put on your helmets.

Around 10:00 p.m. the Police were put on alert after the protesters demolished the security fence, cutting the ties that join them and exceeded the limits set by the riot police, calling for calm through the public address system and warning of an imminent police intervention if they continued. throwing objects.

On the other hand, around 9:00 p.m., on Calle del Tutor, near Ferraz, a container was burned, causing a small column of fire. Firefighters acted quickly to extinguish the fire, while police cordoned off the area.

The atmosphere in Ferraz was calm as the first protesters arrived at 5:30 p.m., protesting on the sidewalk itself and respecting the circulation of vehicles in the area and the adjacent streets.

Later, around 7:00 p.m., the National Police began to shield the area as the tension grew and exceeded the limits of the sidewalk, from the corner of Marqués de Urquijo, where they gathered this Saturday when precisely 16 days had passed. since the concentrations began.

The protesters carry Spanish flags and banners against the amnesty and Pedro Sánchez, while chanting against the PSOE pacts with the Catalan nationalist parties.

Among the protesters, Carlist and Francoist flags are also seen and they chant 'subnormal ruffian' and 'Pedro Sánchez likes fruit', in reference to the ironic words that the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, uttered to Pedro Sánchez in the first session of the investiture debate in the Congress of Deputies.

MULTITUDINARY DEMONSTRATION IN CIBELES

This morning, tens of thousands of people with flags of Spain and the European Union packed Madrid's Plaza de Cibeles and the adjacent streets this Saturday.
