Abascal warns Feijóo of "the obligation" to form an alternative to Sánchez: "It worries me, I see him off center"

VALLADOLID, 7 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has warned the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, this Friday of the "obligation" to form an alternative to evict Pedro Sánchez from the Moncloa Palace and has acknowledged his "concern" because he go "off-center" on that target.

Abascal has starred this Friday in the act of starting the campaign in Valladolid before thousands of people. Castilla y León is the first place where Vox entered into a coalition government with the PP and, in addition, Vox is at stake in these elections to consolidate the six seats it won in the community in November 2019.

"We have the obligation to build an alternative to change course. We have that obligation, to condemn them to the longest-lasting opposition possible or to the bench for doing what they have done by governing for four years against Spanish interests," he claimed in the Plaza de San Pablo, wrapped by the statue of Felipe II.

In this context, he has recognized that he is "concerned" by the descent of the leader of the party with which Vox has to form that alternative, the PP, and the "occurrences" of Feijóo, such as "repealing sanchismo by agreeing with Sánchez" or his idea to call the socialist barons to seek their abstention.

But in addition, he has warned that "the greatest threat" to that alternative that he wants to build is that, according to his words, Feijóo wants to let Sánchez govern if the PSOE is the party with the most votes, even if the sum of PP and Vox exceeds the majority absolute. "That is the greatest threat that there is today to the alternative to socialism," he insisted, calling on his followers to spread among their relatives the importance of voting for Vox on July 23.

"PEDRO THE LIES AND YOLANDA PUÑALES"

Abascal has denounced the policies of the Government of PSOE and Unidas Podemos during this legislature, which mean that Sánchez "cannot go out on the streets" and has insisted that July 23 is "a very important day". And although he believes that they cannot be trusted in front of "others", in reference to Feijóo, whom he sees as "too confident", he has predicted that it will be "a historic day" for Spain.

Abascal has spoken of Sánchez as "Pedro the lies" and of the Sumar candidate and vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, as "Yolanda daggers". "They appear separately but they go together", she has pointed out warning of Díaz's "lack of scruples" even though she seems "a dead fly".

In this framework, he has set Castilla y León as an example of a pact with the PP, despite the reluctance that he assures that there was in Genoa, and has celebrated its extension after May 28 to the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands and Extremadura.

"That alternative is needed and we are very determined," he assured, confessing his "concern" about seeing Feijóo taking his electoral victory for granted and "distributing" ministries. "It seems reckless to me before the elections are held to be the winner and it also seems disrespectful to the Spanish," he revealed, also denouncing that Feijóo is "permanently offering an agreement" to Sánchez while submitting Vox to the "blackmail".
