Most voters do not want Biden to run for re-election in 2024

More than two-thirds of the voters of the candidates for the House of Representatives do not want the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, to stand for re-election in 2024, according to the results of a survey conducted by the company Edison Research for several American chains.

More than seven in ten independent voters and nearly nine in ten Republican voters have said they don't want Biden to be in the 2024 presidential campaign. By contrast, nearly six in ten Democrats say he should run. re-election.

Republican supporters, who make up just over a third of the electorate, have a large majority --nine out of ten-- with an unfavorable opinion of the president and disapprove of his management.

As for Democratic sympathizers – with the same proportion as Republicans – only one in ten disapproves of the policies carried out during the Biden Administration.

By contrast, more than half of independent voters -- who make up a quarter of the electorate -- have an unfavorable opinion of the Democratic leader.
