MADRID, 19 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has accused this Thursday the national leadership of the PP of wanting to put a "new sanitary cordon" against his party and of seeking the rupture of the Government that both formations share in Castilla y León and chaired by Alfonso Fernández manuco.

In statements before the Constitutional Court where he has gone to file an appeal against the Democratic Memory law, Abascal has spoken in these terms in line with the controversy that arose after the announcement of anti-abortion measures by the vice president of Castilla y León and leader of Vox in that community, Juan García-Gallardo.

Asked if Vox will leave that bipartisan party if that protocol is not finally applied, Abascal stressed that there are "many people interested" in that this government "breaks up" and that "the agreement between PP and Vox is impossible."

"I am not going to put myself in any hypothesis of rupture, our will is to continue maintaining the Government and demanding the maintenance of the agreements. I am not going to put myself in that hypothesis that the left is looking for and that the national leadership of the PP is probably looking for", has slipped

In his opinion, the regional Executive is "going through difficulties" and "will go through more" because it is an Executive of two formations. "Some parties are not used to governing in coalition, but they are going to have to learn little by little. We are going to be understanding, but demanding," he added.

Abascal has explained that he has not spoken with the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo since the disagreement arose over the measures announced by García-Gallardo and has refused to comment on the fact that the 'popular' have branded the controversial as a "ghost". sanitary protocol.

He has said that if he maintains that these measures are not going to be applied, what Manueco is doing is "disavowing" the Ministry of Health, which is in the hands of the PP. "We cannot understand who can oppose giving alternatives to pregnant women but, above all, we cannot understand that an agreement is reached and it is not fulfilled", he said.

And he has abounded: "It is very difficult for us to understand who we are agreeing with, because I trust the seriousness and word of Mr. Mañueco and I hope to continue trusting him but, if what has been agreed is not fulfilled, on another occasion, before agree, with the PP, we will go to ask for the approval of Prisa or Ferraz because it seems that they do not have autonomy to agree with Vox".

Asked about the risk of this rupture occurring in the final, the Vox leader replied that "risks always exist in life", but he insisted that his party wants the maintenance of the government in Castilla y León and that they will not to "make the fat broth" those who seek to break it.

In this context, Abascal admits that "it is difficult" to make progress with the PP for the presentation of a motion of no confidence against Pedro Sánchez, but he wanted to make it clear that Vox maintains its intention to register it and continues to meet with "relevant people from politics , in the present and in the past", which in his opinion "have a lot to say". "This government deserves to be portrayed together with all its accomplices - he has emphasized -. We are not going to stop".

He has also replied to the statements by the PP campaign spokesman, Borja Sémper, about Vox being "a bargain" for the Pedro Sánchez government. He has done so by accusing the 'popular' of having "handed over" the Constitutional Court to the PSOE as he did before with other institutions and of defending, for example, that the former Andalusian president convicted of the ERE case José Antonio Griñán does not enter into prison.

"The PP wants to share Spain with the PSOE by applying a sanitary cordon to Vox and preventing an agreement with us, therefore, I don't know who is the bargain for the PSOE or who is the one who really has the will to agree with the PSOE, but it seems that it is the PP", has said.

As for the statements by socialist leaders urging the PP to break with Vox in Castilla y León and Feijóo's request that the most voted list govern. Abascal interprets this as "a new sanitary cordon against vox by the national leadership of the PP" and also of the PSOE.

In his opinion, asking for the list with the most votes to govern Spain "is a reflection that directly attacks the parliamentary system." "It would be necessary to ask him if he also wants it for the autonomous communities and the town halls," he added, challenging Feijóo to clarify if "he is willing to hand over power to the PSOE" in those places where PP and Vox add up to an alternative majority .
