The sphere of the SSE is very demanding. For the most part, the trainings preparing to a bac+3 or bac+5. According to the national Observatory of the SSE, there are more than 70. The courses are for more than 60% of them to master level 2, offered at 80% by universities, of which two-thirds are attached to the UFR (unit of formation and research), law, economics and management and humanities and social sciences.

In regards to the IUT (university institutes of technology) and the channels of political science, the offers are much less abundant. Of the licences professionnelles (bac+3) offer different specialities: the organisation of the third sector and solidarity economy, to the business management of the SSE or the associations, through the management of the organizations of the SSE or the development of projects for social action. They are, for the most part, localized in the Ile-de-France.

master 2 (bac+5), it is possible to specialize in more specific areas: the management, the conduct of projects at the international, humanitarian or social entrepreneurship. These formations are concentrated mainly in the Rhône-Alpes, Ile-de-France and in the Pas-de-Calais.

By the way, this economy of the link creates almost 10% of the national wealth and is expected to create more jobs than the private sector economy by 2020.
