The TSJC sentences Laura Borràs to four and a half years in prison for splitting contracts in the ILC

The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has sentenced the president of Junts, Laura Borràs, to four and a half years in prison and nine years of disqualification for splitting contracts when she ran the Institute of Catalan Letters (ILC).

Borràs was tried accused of the crimes of prevarication and documentary falsification for 18 contracts awarded to her friend Isaías H.

The Prosecutor's Office had claimed for Borràs a sentence of six years in prison and 21 years of disqualification for prevarication and documentary falsification.
