The 'startup' EAVE gets three million euros from a Banco Santander fund

The renewable energy 'startup' EAVE has closed this Tuesday a financing of three million euros through the Smart fund of Banco Santander for its expansion in the national territory.

Through a press release, the Canarian company has explained that it plans to open offices in Catalonia, the Levantine region and the Basque Country in the coming months, which will require a 60% increase in the workforce.

In addition, the energy company has detailed that this fund will be used to continue promoting the research and development (R&D) department, to which almost a third of the billing is allocated and focuses on building an energy management system that combines the prediction weather and artificial intelligence (AI).

In this way, EAVE's forecasts for 2023 consist of reaching a turnover of eleven million euros and that its workforce will be around one hundred employees.
