The Pope takes off from Rome to Lisbon to participate in the World Youth Day

Pope Francis took off at 8:00 a.m. this Wednesday, August 2, from Rome/Fiumicino International Airport to Lisbon (Portugal) to participate in World Youth Day (WYD).

The plane in which the Pope is traveling, an A320, is scheduled to arrive at the Figo Maduro Air Base, Lisbon, at around 10:00 a.m. (11:00 a.m. in Spain).

On the trip, in which he is accompanied by the journalists who cover the Vatican, the Pope will fly over four countries: Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
