The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has presented this Friday the new foundation of the party, 'Reformismo21', to "reconstruct" Spain through "a great project without labels" in which "the vast majority of Spaniards recognize "Based on moderation, centrality and away from "radicalism".
"I want to lead the reconstruction in all areas but I don't want to do it alone or for my party to do it alone," Feijóo declared at the presentation ceremony for the new foundation, which will include former PP ministers (such as Fátima Báñez, Ramón Escolonao or Josep Piqué) and experts in different subjects.
Feijóo has justified this name by ensuring that the best moments in history coincide with reformist periods. "Everything that is called to last needs to be reformed", he said, adding that "it is always better to modernize than to break".
After assuring that the PP is going to "inherit" a "complicated situation" from Pedro Sánchez, he has affirmed that his Executive will "promote thoughtful reforms" that respond to the "challenges" of the country, in a "reconstruction task".
